Monday Motivation: When you don’t want to, SHOW UP ANYWAY!!

Happy Monday friends!

I have a little motivation for you today! There will be many times when we don’t feel like doing things. We will procrastinate. We will put things off for another day. We will divert until we can’t any longer. But, we must show up. We must do the work set before us. I hope you guys enjoy this video and have an awesome day and week!

Be blessed!

Today, was definitely tough. Probably my most challenging day thus far in nursing school. I’ve taken 5 test, 2 papers, and 3 clinical skills check offs within the past week. Today I made my lowest grade ever in my dosage calculation test. 😔 I also had my 2nd pharmacology exam today. We had to cover 8 chapters, 44 drugs, and 12 ATI chapters. Needless to say, I’m happy it’s all over. I’m just really disappointed with my dosage grade and now I have to remediate in order to pass on to clinicals.

      Hi LaToya,
First, let me say that I am so sorry you had such a rough day. I’m so glad that you made it, though!! You survived! Look at everything you accomplished! You can do great and wonderful things. You just proved that by accomplishing so much in one day. We can do great things, but not EVERY thing. You were probably very overwhelmed with everything you had to accomplish. That may account for your dosage calculations grade. Now, you know what to expect! You have got it this next time around! Take your time, study, and believe in yourself. Also, contact your instructor to see where you made mistakes, if you haven’t done so already. I am so proud of everything you have accomplished, and I am pulling for you to do great things in the future! Rock it out!!!

This was perfect! This week has been a drag. I was not feeling my best but nonetheless I do what I had to do. Hope I’m not getting this virus. Glad you feeling better and doing well. Thanks for the inspiration! You always were that ray of sunshine that got us through a lot of days in nursing school.
