The birthday fix is here! Now, this was my unintentional birthday fix, because this Fix was originally scheduled to arrive in April. I had a little hiccup, and this fix ended up being my May Fix! Now, if you are unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, I will give you a brief overview of the service and how it works. Be on the look-out for a later post that explains Stitch Fix in great detail!
I have been with Stitch Fix for a while now (surely with getting my “Sweet 16” Fix.) I love this service, because I receive clothing that I would never choose for myself. 9-out-of-10 times, I am pleasantly surprised by the fit, color, and feel of the pieces I’m sent. With Stitch Fix, you get your own personal stylist. Your stylist will look at your profile, color and print choices, and price points, and send you 5 great pieces for you to try on in the comfort of your own home. You only keep what you love, and return what you don’t! You can also leave your stylist a note, specifying what particular prints, colors, patterns, or even pieces you would like to try for each particular Fix!
Now for the grand reveal!! I was not in love with all the pieces from this Fix, but the colors….SWOON!!
Margaret M Emer Printed Straight Leg Pant in Coral ( $98) Outcome: RETURNED
These pants were soooo cute on! And the color is one of my favorites! The only thing was they were a little short. I am not tall at all, but I felt like these pants hit me at a weird angle. Since they were also very unique, I felt like I would not wear them enough to pay $98 dollars for them. So, back they went.
*sorry about some of these pictures being rotated sideways. I utilize wordpress and an iphone. I need to quit forgetting to take my pictures with my phone turned the correct way!
Papermoon Lupita Cross-Back Top in Turquoise ( $48) Outcome: GET IN MY CLOSET, NOW!
This top is cute, simple, fun, and comfortable. I really like this top, because it can be dressed up or down. Functionality should be my middle name. Now, it may seem like this top is all business in the front, but there is a little party in the back! Longer hemline, cross-back detailing, and color blocking make this top more than basic. I felt like this was a great add to my closet!
Fun2Fun Casper Cami Top in Hot Pink ($38) Outcome: RETURNED
I thought this top was my EVERYTHING when it came out of the box. Sadly, it wasn’t. This simple top has the cutest t-back detailing. It also has adjustable straps. It is incredibly thin, though. So thin, that you would have to wear a camisole (have fun finding a t-back one so the straps don’t show) underneath your camisole. Also, this top fit slightly tight underneath my arms. So, as bad as I wanted to love this top, I just had to return it.
Market & Spruce Char Geo Print Maxi Skirt in Turquoise and Multi ($58) Outcome: RETURNED
The print on this skirt is so beautiful! I really wanted to keep this skirt, but couldn’t justify it. I have way too many maxi skirts. Other than the print, this one is exactly like most of the ones I already own. I just did not have the need for another one. So, this one had to go back.
*sorry there is no picture of me modeling the top and skirt (fit issues made me not like the pictures)
Diba Jessica Floral Print Wedges in Navy ($45) Outcome: Almost kept…but RETURNED
These wedges are so cute and very comfortable. I have a weird post-pregnancy foot (yes, even almost 3 years later!) My shoe size changed from an 8 to an 8.5. The only problem is now, most size 8 shoes are too small and size 8.5 shoes are too large. It is very frustrating when it happens with shoes I actually really like and would wear all summer! So, I sent these cuties back to their home.
So, Fix #16 was only a 1/5 for me and I am perfectly fine with that! I only keep pieces that I LOVE!
Don’t forget, if you want to learn more about Stitch Fix, I will be posting about why Stitch Fix is a great option for healthcare professionals later next week!

I am also totally fine with a 1/5 as long as it is something I love! Great post!
Lauren, I LOVE me some Stitch Fix! Thank you!
