Happy Monday, friends! Once again, it is my extreme honor to bring you another addition of the “SoulShine” Series! This week, I am proud to feature an amazing young woman who is fiercely pursuing her dreams! Brittany Lewis Brown is a prime example to all young people of what #lifegoals is like! She’s intelligent, determined, beautiful, kind…I mean this list could go on and on. One thing that I love about Brittany is that she is extremely supportive of others in the pursuit of their dreams….and it would be totally dismissive of me not to point out that she is one of the MOST fashionable women I know! Here is more about Brittany, in her own words:
Brittany Brown is a graduate from The University of Southern Mississippi. There she received a B.S. degree in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Studies from the College of Business. Since obtaining her degree she has received experience in several different fields. Before graduating college, she accepted a job as an Assistant Manager of Ann Taylor Loft in Ridgeland, MS. After working there for 2 years, she switched jobs and became a Buyer/Business Analyst for Kasai North America, knowing she would need the skills set that she would obtain from the position to further her career. Shortly after marrying this past April, she and her husband relocated to the Dallas area so she would be in a better job market for her degree. She currently works in the Merchandising Department for an e-commerce company, DC International. Her current position allows her to get hands on experience in the e-commerce side of retail. This is great considering over the past few years, e-commerce is becoming the go-to way to shop. She currently assists with product development, data analysis, sales forecasting, and merchandising for the company. On the side, she does styling and style consultations for anyone looking to enhance or improve their current look, or for anyone who may need assistance dressing for special occasions. Brittany plans to one day use the skills she has obtained throughout her career and become a business owner.
Please help me in thanking Brittany for “being the light!”
Congrats on being the light Britt!
